Connecting Config
Situation
Project Details
Experiencing a strong case of FOMO, I found an unique opportunity to connect with fellow Config attendees, even when participating virtually. This led to creating a customizable Figma file that individuals could use to introduce themselves both online or in person with a simple QR code scan as their wallpaper.
Task
Plan of Attack
Drawing inspiration from Chris Abra's innovative 2022 Webflow Conf digital business card, I recognized the potential in designing visuals tailored not just for phone wall papers, but for various social media platforms as well. This approach provides a dynamic means for both virtual and in-person attendees to seamlessly connect and engage. Before launching, Eric Odem and Waldo Broodryk. provided advice on file organization and overall user experience to ensure a smooth launch.

Overall Idea
The goal was to create a user-friendly file that catered to individuals with varying levels of Figma expertise. It was imperative that the file was meticulously organized and included clear, concise instructions to guarantee effortless use. In doing so, we aimed to make the customization and utilization of these assets accessible and hassle-free for all Config participants.
